My Most Recent Preacher-Addiction

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I last posted a blog!  I can tell you I think about posting what I’m learning all the time.  I remember Beth Moore saying that you’re a teacher if…. you want to share everything you learn!  That would be ME!

I REALLY LOVE the Bible!  I love READING it.  I love STUDYING it!  I love LISTENING to Pastors teach about it!  It is so amazing how the Old Testament predicts the coming of Jesus Christ and the New Testament confirms the awesome gift He gave us!

The stories of men and women who came before us that we can learn from their mistakes and be encouraged by God’s faithfulness, grace and mercy.

I have a few favorite Pastors I’ve enjoyed watching and/or listening to for a long time, but I recently found a new one!  Don’t misunderstand me, he’s not new to ministry; he’s new to me!  I was introduced to him by reading his in-depth commentary on the Book of Hebrews…which is amazing!

Next, my small group leaders had some books sitting out when we met last week and encouraged us to borrow whatever we wanted.  The following title caught my attention…

AND OH MY GOODNESS, WHAT A BOOK!!!!  I have been listening to a couple of sermons online and I have learned so much (some things more easier to “swallow” than others – for example, do you know the difference between a TRIAL and CONSEQUENCES?).  He is currently preaching a sermon series on the Bible and the messages are FABULOUS!

If you’re interested, I thought I would include a couple of his links ….
